Hello
I am so pleased to know that on the 19/11/2009 the H.E Mr. Marian Zahora, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic and on the 21/10/2009 the H. E. Mohamed Habib HADDAD, Ambassador of Tunisia, had Handed over the letters of credence to the Presidents of both countries.
I am Tunisian and my wife is Slovakian, and we both waiting and hoping that this event mean that they will be an official ambassies in both countries. At the moment I have to travel to Lybia becouse there is not a Slovakian Ambassy in Tunisia.
Would you please help me to find out about this great news. I checked many websites and asked many departments in Tunisia but nothing is sure yet.
Kind regards
Dany

Dear Danny, we couldn’t find any update on these news. In the meantime, there is no Slovak embassy in Tunisia. If there will be one, we certainly update our info on this page: http://www.slovak-republic.org/visa-embassies/of-slovakia/

I am attempting to find out if anyone has ever heard of a Slovak Poet named Jozef Pletenik who was a Slovak Nationalist who was forced to leave in the late 1800’s after helping blow up a statue of Franz Jozef atop Gerlach Peak?
